Redbone Coonhounds are a medium sized dog breed with a vibrant red coat.  These dogs are working dogs and takes a lot of time to train.  They are family oriented dogs and incredibly kid friendly.  They have a mid to upper level of intelligence and need a lot of exercise.  The gentle creatures are descendants of the Red Hounds brought to North America by the Scottish and Irish immigrants during colonial times.
