The Star of Life Grill Cover

The Star of Life is featured with a blue, six-pointed star with the Rod of Asclepius in the center.  The symbol is typically seen throughout the United States on ambulances, paramedics, or other EMS personnel.  In Greek mythology, the Rod of Asclepius is also known as the Staff of Asclepius.  It is depicted as a serpent wrapped around a rod/staff.  This symbol has been confused with the Caduceus Symbol throughout history.  It came from the god Asclepius, a deity associated with healing and medicinal arts in Greek Mythology.
